In this class we will ZOOM around the world and learn about the different continents and oceans! We will also talk about the animals we might see along the way! Here is a breakdown of what to expect in this lesson: - Greeting - Introduction to the WORLD - Identify and name each continent - Brainstorm and name animals we may see - Learn each of the oceans - Colour the world map - Closing/ Goodbye This will be an interactive lecture which includes a slide presentation. Students will learn to identify the 7 continents, as well as the 5 oceans around the world. We will also discuss different animals that can be found on each continent.
1 file available upon enrollmentA one page world map will be provided for you, please print the map so that the student can colour it in class. Please also have colouring materials, like pencil crayons or markers handy.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
