I am a teacher with global experience. I have lived and taught in 3 different countries. I'm excited about the opportunity to share my love of cultures and geography  with learners. I'm an enthusiastic teacher and plan my classes to include practical educational experiences.

Practical assignments will be provided weekly to reinforce what the students have covered in the classroom sessions.

Week 4- Create a perfect road trip to see what you think are the 10 top sights in US/Canada and Mexico
Week 5- Newspaper front page
Week 6- Create historic architecture from the Inca, Maya or other ancient civilization
Week 7- Create historic architecture from the Inca, Maya or other ancient civilization (Cont.)
Week 8- Make a dish or meal for/with your family from the Caribbean, Central or South America
Week 9 - None

Learner progress will be evaluated according to the US Common Core Standards and National Standards of Social Studies for Geography adopted by most states. Feedback will be provided in an ungraded learner report or graded report card within 1-2 weeks after class ends.

55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
