Class Experience

Workout and Movement 1 is perfect for the 9-12 year old who is excited to learn more about fitness and movement. This class is catered towards those who want to build the strength and muscles needed to excel in sports, as well as for those who simply want to get in shape/increase physical activity, or need a PE class! There will be modifications to exercises when applicable to cater to a wide range of abilities and skill levels. No equipment needed.

This class also caters to those with busy schedules, that do not fit into the current time offerings for live meetings, or who simply do not prefer to take live classes. Flex classes allow students to take class anytime of the day or night, at the most convenient time for their schedules.

Each class will begin with a quick warm up and stretch to ensure warm muscles and safety. After this, we will move into conditioning and strength training (differing in exercises from class-to-class). Learners can expect to learn about the basic muscles of the body, where they are, and how to correctly target them when exercising. Before and throughout our workout, we focus on using proper form when performing each exercise. This helps to build the correct muscles efficiently and effectively, while maintaining safety. After our workout is complete, we will end with a quick cooldown to rest our muscles, and stretch out.

At the end of each class, students will be given a workout challenge of the week to perform at home, where they are encouraged to post pictures and videos of in our classroom page! These challenges will seek to continue growing students physical fitness and confidence, while having a blast along the way!

Each lesson will be approximately 30-40 minutes long. While all weeks will be focused on full body strength training, the workouts within each lesson will be unique from one another, with each week increasing in difficulty.

Learners are always encouraged to reach out for guidance and feedback on exercises, in which I will happily provide a personalized message or video helping each student achieve their goals.

All class material and content for the upcoming week will be uploaded by Monday at 8:00 AM EST for students to begin practicing the content of the lesson, and working on this week's skills and conditioning.
