In this hands-on writing practice class, we will be completing various fun and engaging exercises designed to improve writing skills, while also learning to spell words correctly. Throughout the course, students will get an introduction to fundamental grammar concepts. Topics will include nouns, verbs, adjectives, synonyms, antonyms, contractions, common and proper nouns, compound words, plurals, similar verbs, homonyms, comparative and superlative adjectives, irregular verbs and more. These building blocks of language are vital for constructing sentences and expressing ideas effectively.

This is a fun class with lots of opportunity for interaction, engagement and discussion.  
During the writing portion of the class students will be able to follow along and practice on the worksheets while I am explaining and demonstrating each exercise on the screen using fun and engaging slides. Once they are done, students can hold up their work in front of the camera for me to see. Parents will be provided downloadable PDFs to print each week. These worksheets include fun word activities and a lined writing paper.
