US Grade 2 - 5
This class is designed to teach all the rules and patterns that kiddos sometimes get caught up on when spelling and reading. These rules also will help them to decode words while reading. Knowing the rules about the different diphthongs help to write and read words with those vowel patterns. Or knowing what an open syllable is will assist them to segment words for spelling and reading that pattern. Learning how to spell words is one of the most useful and lifelong skills and it builds the basic foundation that all children will need throughout their education and life in general. Learning how to spell is very important for other basic skills, including writing and reading. See the outline of the class below.
