Details: Learners will need to read the selected sections of the book before class.
Learners should have a proficient reading level to enjoy the books selected. In some cases, these books might be able to be found in a recorded version.
Learners will need a copy of the following books to begin with:
- Night Books by J.A. White
- Serefina and the Black Cloak by Amanda May Dundas
- The House with a Clock in Its Walls by John Bellairs
Although these books are all spooky in nature, they are age appropriate in content.
We will be starting with reading 'Night Books,' 'Serefina and the Black Cloak,' and 'The House with a Clock in its Walls.' We will be using Reading Powers by Adrienne Gear as a framework.
