Sometimes we speak without thinking and other times we want to inflict as much damage as possible with our words. In this class, we will be discussing the effects and alternatives to our language. I have a bachelors degree in Child and Family Services from Iowa State University.
35 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Due to the nature of this course, this is not therapeutic in nature. Children sometimes want to share personal information. I kindly ask my students to not divulge personal information and we focus on solutions as a whole instead of for one specific issue.
