In this 6-week online course, students will learn phonics patterns to improve their spelling. Each lesson will follow the same word study process which includes saying words, finger-stretching words, mapping on sounds, and self-correcting.

Beginner Level
This class is designed to explicitly teach spelling through systematic word study/phonics patterns. Each lesson will follow the same word study process which includes saying words, finger-stretching words, mapping on sounds, and self-correcting. Learners will specifically study short vowels, initial and final blends, long vowels, phonograms, consonant digraphs, and vowel teams.
