Word Problem Workshop: Fourth Grade Math

Welcome to our exciting 4th Grade Common Core Word Problem class! Join us as we explore multi-step word problem strategies including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, area, perimeter, geometry, and more!

In each class, we'll start with an engaging "get to know you" question and review classroom rules. We'll then dive into solving word problems at a pace that challenges but also builds confidence in our students. We'll use a mix of teaching methods, including games, slides, discussion, and lecture, to keep students engaged and excited about learning. We'll also play a fun math game at the end of each session to flex those math muscles.

My approach to learning emphasizes collaboration and student participation. I encourage students to interact with each other and the instructor to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment. My teaching style is designed to help your child succeed by providing positive feedback and support.
