In this one-time class, your learner will meet with me to work on solving word problems. We will work through the steps of reading and solving addition word problems together.

During this session, your learner and I will work through the steps to become a master at solving word problems. We will practice multiple reads (reading the word problem more than once), circling numbers, boxing off clue words, underlining the question within the problem, determining the operation (addition), setting up the equation, and choosing the best strategy to finally solve the problem.
