Students' literacy skills will be strengthened in the areas of decoding, phonics, spelling and vocabulary. They will gain a better understanding of the short vowel sounds and the CVC (consonant-vowel-consonant) pattern in beginning, one-syllable words.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
