🧩 You haven't heard from your friend Alex since she went to loot the Woodland Mansion 24 hours ago. Following in her footsteps, you've decided to investigate the Mansion to find her but have been trapped within its walls after entering. Unfamiliar with this maze of a building, you must navigate through a series of logic, critical thinking, and code puzzles to escape. Keep your wits about you, because one wrong turn could be your last. ⏱ After an introduction, you will have 50 minutes to work...
I want students to walk away from this escape room with not only a fun memory, but the confidence to take risks and make mistakes. Students will work on navigating through mental blocks when under a time crunch. Similar to real-world collaboration, students will also get to practice communicating their ideas with others in a positive and inclusive environment.
I have been teaching Minecraft courses since 2017. I'm passionate about facilitating immersive experiences that allow students to connect with others and grow in their creativity.
I highly recommend having a piece of scratch paper and pencil handy for notes and problem solving.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
There are references to using a crossbow to defeat a Minecraft monster but no blood or gore is shown.
