Class Experience
The world around us is filled with wonders! Some are man-made, while others have been created through the power and beauty of mother nature. Together we will travel across the globe, and explore the Pyramids of Egypt, The Great Wall of China, Uluru and the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, among many others. At each location we will discuss how it got there, its historical and cultural significance, and what we can do to preserve it for future generations. Join us in this class as we blend...
Each week students will discover a new wonder, learn about how it was created and how we can preserve it for future generations. We will investigate its related cultural, geographic and historical influences. And we will learn about the people, nations and civilizations that built or revered these locations!
(Optional) - If a particular student is really excited about the upcoming lesson I may ask them to research the topic and bring a few fun facts to share with the group!
(Optional) Drawing materials are always encouraged for students that would love to draw the different wonders that we explore!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour per week in class, and no time outside of class.
