Description

Class Experience

---> Learning Targets
I will be able to explain the early events of (various Wondrous women)'s  life.

I will be able to identify the obstacles that each woman was able to overcome throughout their career and how they found success.

I will be able to gauge what the future/ legacy might/ looks like for the woman we are discussing.

Through direct instruction and collaborative discussion learners will be able to learn more about the personal history and events in...

Worksheets/ Notesheets/ Coloring will be provided and optional.

We will wrap each day up with a learning assesment - Using True/ False - Thumbs Up/ Thumbs down to reflect on what we learned that day.

2 hours 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

Please note that some of the women that we will study have faced adversity, based upon their gender.   Please be sure your learner is comfortable with discussing sensitive topics such as racial, gender, and other forms of discrimination. When studying musicians, songs will be screened for age-appropriate content, but parents should be comfortable discussing any topics that may arise. Some themes may be considered mature by certain families.
