Class Experience

This unique one time class blends history and mythology with the movie (2017)/comic book hero "Wonder Woman." Learners will gain an understanding of the historical and mythological elements behind the story through discusion, photos, videos, virtual field trips, and interactive content. We will cover Wonder Woman's experiences throughout history including WWI, as well as the greek myths that she and other characters are based on. 

I am a Certified Teacher and have been teaching History, Culture, Mythology and Social Studies lessons to students for over 5 years. I am a lifelong learner and love teaching others about the world.

Parental Guidance
Learners will need to be able to access Nearpod by either splitting their computer screen between Nearpod and zoom, or using a separate device (phone, tablet, etc.) We will be discussing WWI during this class. Wonder Woman is rated PG13, however any clips shown will be more PG. Please use your own judgement as you know your child best.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
