I have been teaching English Language Arts and Reading since 2013. I have my Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education with a focus on English. I am Reading Endorsed for all grade levels and ESOL endorsed as well. I also have a Masters of Education in Educational Leadership and a second Master's in Reading. I have a deep passion for teaching and get excited about reading. I want to share that excitement with my students and encourage them to get excited about reading as well.
Students will need a copy of the book. Handouts will be provided weekly.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
No live meetings, and an estimated 2 - 4 hours per week outside of class.
This novel discusses treating other differently based on looks and other physical traits. Themes of bullying may be present.
