So much is learned through play. Playing mind games together creates practice for social skills,empathy, and wonder. They also aid in comprehension, creativity, problem solving skills, and spatial awareness. One also learns how to be challenged, and persevere to find the answer/truth. The power of play truly is a superpower!
Hi - My name is Amy Spiess-Ki and I cannot wait to teach your child! I started my journey as a Camp Counselor for 6 years. We played a gazillion games under the sun! I learned to incorporate many of them into my classroom. They are tried and true classics! While I was a Camp Counselor, I also obtained my Masters of Music Education degree, and since I have taught over 20,000 children in just over 20 years! I enjoy working with children, seeing the magic in every child I teach, and experiencing joy together! Let's play!
No formal homework, but be ready, as often they will want to play these games with you too. Good luck!
