Class Experience

I took a class on African American history in college. I have also taught children ages 5-12. I am teaching from a book that is age-appropriate.
Students will be required to pick one of their favorite women of color and write a one-paragraph summary about her.
Printed Questions I send when you enroll
One printed portrait of your favorite Freedom Fighter
Coloring pencils or crayons
1 hour 10 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
We will be reading from the book "Let it Shine: Stories of Black Women Freedom Fighters," which is published by Scholastic.
