Class Experience
Marie Curie doesn't need an introduction, as her name is known around the world. At a time when women barely had access to education, Marie Curie broke down all the barriers and became a pioneer in the scientific field. Marie Curie was a pioneer in every way and became the first woman to win a Nobel Prize and to become a professor at the University of Paris. My goal is to inspire children with history so that they see the many obstacles that historical figures have overcome and hopefully be inspired to do great things with their own lives. We will discuss the challenges and accomplishments of Marie Curie and will talk about our own challenges and how they become accomplishments that we can be proud of.
No homework will be assigned however several downloads are available once your learner is enrolled. These can be used for follow on learning at home.

Throughout the class we will talk about challenges and accomplishments in Marie Curie's life and we will relate this back to your learners goals in their own life.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Towards the end of class we will play BINGO this link will be posted in the classroom and will be posted during class via the chat block. Your child may need assistance with this feature. This is a virtual BINGO game and no materials are required to be printed for this class
