Beginner - Intermediate Level
Curriculum: Learners will learn informational facts about Incredible women who didn't let racism or being treated unfairly because of their gender stop them from following their dreams. Instruction: -Students will watch an engaging video about the Historical Figure -Students will read a story about the Historical Figure -Students will do written activities about the Historical Figure -Students will color pictures about the Historical Figure (optional) Teacher/ Student Interaction: Open-Ended Discussions Guided Reading Activities Schedule: -We can follow my schedule, or you can choose at any random order. -We will learn about 1 woman per week -This class is for 8 weeks. If you want to learn about the other 8 women, enroll in the class again. In this class we will learn about slavery, freedom, racism. I will answer tough and sensitive questions in a child appropriate manner.
