This one-to-one course is for anyone who is interested in the study of women’s history. We will identify women who have made powerful contributions to our world.

Class experience

Students will be able to identify women’s role throughout history and analyze their impact.
As someone who has done extensive research into the lives of many of these women, I feel that I have the expertise to teach this course.
This course will explore the sometimes harsh life that women experienced from minority women facing slavey and genocide to royal women's executions. I will never show graphic images of executions or anything else that could be viewed as sensitive. We will discuss topic such as sexism and possibly even racism. These topics will only be discussed as they relate to the lives of the learner's chosen woman of focus.
The following are sources that will be used depending upon the topic:
The West in the World by Dennis Sherman
The Creation of Anne Boleyn by Susan Bordo
Medieval Women by Eileen Powers
Game of Queens by Sarah Bristwood
The Six Wives of Henry VIII by Amy License
Isabela of Castile by Nancy Rubin
Others to be added.
