Description
Class Experience
I have a Masters degree in History, and an Undergraduate degree in History and English. I have researched and taught these subjects in the final year of my undergraduate degrees and the two years of my Master degree. My Master's degree is interdisciplinary, covering both History, and Women and Gender Studies. I worked for two years, 2017-2019, as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Lethbridge. In this position I worked with undergraduate students from first year to fourth teaching one-on-one and have given lectures in university level classes.
2 hours per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
This class will discuss historical topics such as descriptions of war and injuries due to the nature of the topic. Many of these women sustained injuries in battle and met unfortunate ends. This may be sensitive in nature, but it will not include graphic or disturbing details or discussion. The class discussion will be age appropriate.
