Class Experience
In this ongoing class, we will learn about a different woman in science each week! This class is taught via Canva presentation and discussion is actively encouraged. During the class, we will learn about the scientist of the week, including when and where they were born, if they are still alive, the scientific work they did, and any barriers they faced because of their gender. We will fill out a factfile about the scientist using information from the class and go through the answers...
This class is taught in English.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Scissors will be used some weeks please supervise and assist your child as necessary. Kahoot will be used some weeks, children do not need to make an account. They will access kahoot through a link I give them and they will be asked to provide a name.
