Women in Science: Explore the Oceans, Space, DNA, & More! (Ages 12-16) Multi-Day
In this multi-day course, learners will explore innovative women in science. Each class will feature a different area of science, 3-4 scientists from the featured area of science, and a class activity.

Description
Class Experience
Learners will obtain a greater understanding of science literacy, history, and challenges and/or research of current professionals. Learners will be encouraged to use the science-based vocabulary introduced in class during class discussions and activities.
Each week, a supply list will be posted in the Outschool classroom 6 days before the next lesson. Weekly supplies should not exceed $5 and will often include common household items (colored pencils, scissors, printer paper, etc.). Please message me if you would like the weekly supply list in advance.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
