Come and join us as we take a look at the life of Dolly Parton. We will learn about her childhood, rise to fame, movie career, and how she built and empire. The first 20-30 minutes of the class will consist of a powerpoint presentation that will include a detailed look at her childhood, education, travels, and contributions to charity. We will listen to some of her hit songs and watch some performances. The last 10-15 minutes of class will be an open discussion of what we have learned and answer any questions that the students may have.
