Come and join us as we will take a look at the life, education, and many contributions that Alice Paul made. The first 20-30 minutes of the class will consist of a powerpoint presentation that will include a detailed look at her childhood, education, travels, and contributions to the suffrage movement. We will discuss the influence that the British women's movement had on her, as well as how other women in the movement viewed her extreme tactics. We will take a look at a few videos about the movement under her direction was viewed by the public and politicians. The last 10-15 minutes of class will be an open discussion of what we have learned and answer any questions that the students may have.

Parental Guidance
Alice Paul was arrested and endured the 1917 Night of Terror where she, and other suffragettes, were tortured and force fed. These topics will be handled in an historical and age appropriate manner.
There may be some Youtube videos that are seen during this class. I will share my screen and learners will not need to access them on their own.
