Welcome to women in history! In this class we will take a look a the lives and impact of different women, both from history and modern day. We will talk about their childhood, influences and inspirations, their accomplishments, and how history has remembered them. Each class will consist of a 20-25 minute lecture about the woman (or women) we are learning about, and then an open discussion about that woman in her life. I have been an educator on Outschool since February of 2018. I have my MBA and MHA, both of which have taught me the value of conducting research and asking questions. I have a passion for history and learning. You can usually find me in the middle of 2-3 books or watching a documentary.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
In this class, there may be discussions about discrimination, racism, sexism, and some violence. All discussions will be at an age appropriate level.
