In this class we will combine our love of snacking and our love of Harry Potter as we go step by step through a recipe to create the Hogwarts inspired treat, a monster book.
Class experience
In this class, we will create an edible monster book from Harry Potter. We will begin by watching a quick video of the monster book scene from the movies. Then, we will go step by step through the recipe to make one monster book. I will demonstrate the steps with my own example on video. While making our snack, we will discuss all things Harry Potter. Learners do not need to have Harry Potter background knowledge to enjoy the snack, but it would be helpful when participating in the fun...
- 2 full-sized graham crackers (plus a few extra in case they break in the process) -Container of chocolate icing -About 16-20 small marshmallows -M&Ms or small candies (2-6 in any color) -Plastic knife (or something to spread icing) -Paper plate (surface to work on)
Students will need plastic knives in the cooking class.
