Looking for a unique way to get your daily physical activity in? Enjoy the magical world? Consider joining Teacher Julia in "Wizard Fitness-Train like a Wizard!" Students will be engaging in a wide variety of fun, sweaty, and wizardly related activities, including: - Teacher led Choose your own adventure games (through interactive Powerpoint/Google Slides) - Wizard exercise trivia (teacher made videos) - "Would you Rather" fitness activities featuring magical favorites! (Through fun gifs and animated clips) - Practicing Mindfulness and finding magic in every day things (guided relaxation techniques with hoberman sphere and stuffies)! - And much, MUCH more! This interactive class will have students laughing, smiling, and getting sweaty! More details about the class experience: Students will engage in various teacher made Powerpoint presentations and videos, following along with some fun visual animations helping them share their love of wizards while being physically active. In addition, students may be asked to "team up" with one another in performing various cooperative virtual team building exercises. All activities will be presented through the teacher's screen where students will be given a wide variety of exercises to choose from when expressing their love of the magical world. Activities are teacher led but change based on the interests and comfort level of students. Modifications for physical activities will always be provided. **PLEASE NOTE: This class is listed as on-going. Before enrolling your student please be aware of the multiple dates this course may be scheduled for! I can negotiate partial refunds/accommodations for any missed class 24 hours before the class starting time.**

- It's super important, now more than ever, to stay physically active and to engage in physical activity EVERY DAY
- This can be a great opportunity to engage students who may not necessarily enjoy traditional sport specific skills. Rather, this class involves more lifelong fitness skills!
How will we know if students are successful?
- Students will be able to successfully participate in 60 minutes of high quality physical activity
- Students will be able to share their love of the magic and wizards through movement, writing, and sharing aloud with others.
- Students will be able to reflect on their own experiences and compare/contrast them with the world of magic

Parental Guidance
Families are always welcome to join! Note: Families can not be on camera.
By participating in this class, students and families recognize the potential risks of participating in any physical activity.
Families are allowing their students to voluntarily participate in such physical activities that may (unlikely) result in injury. When registering for class, families are stating that their child is physically healthy to participate in any of the activities in this course.
When registering for this course, families agree to accept, knowingly and voluntarily, any and all risks or injury arising out of they or their child's participation in any activities in this course.
Supply List
Students are always welcome to dress in wizard-like robes (as long as it is appropriate and safe to move about in)! It is highly suggested that students are in a safe space prior to starting the class. Be ready to MOVE!

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Teacher expertise and credentials
Julia Stevens is a highly qualified PE teacher and Harry Potter aficionado. Formerly the President of her University's Harry Potter club, she considers herself a Hufflepuff/Slytherin hybrid. Her favorite thing is to integrate her interests and the interests of her students within physical education instruction. Julia is certified in PE, Health, and ESOL instruction. Additionally, she is trained in the Yoga Calm curriculum and is currently attending The Mindful Schools Program online (for fun)!
