Class Experience

PARTIES: I do offer escape room and other themed parties. Please message me directly for more details instead of using the request a section button.

It is your first year at a school for Wizardry and you could not be more excited. You were just sorted into your dream house and you had dinner with your new classmates. It is time to head back to the common room and get to know your roommates. As you get on the moving staircase to head to the commons room with your friends, you notice the stair case is taking you in the opposite direction. You try to tell it to go the other way, but it doesn't listen. It stops and connects to a long dark hallway that you have never seen before. You and the others decide to get off and get back on the stair case to see if it will move. As you step off the staircase you are swept away by what feels like a gust of wind. You feel like you're falling forever when you finally hit the hard ground. The room is dark and dusty. You and the others lands shortly after you and attempts to light their wands, but nothing happens. You are trapped in a dark room that blocks the use of magic.
Suddenly the torches emit with fire and you find you're locked inside a chamber with multiple doors and tunnels but no clear way out. You can hear a snore of what sounds like a nasty beast and you do not want to wake him. Can you and your friends get out of the second chamber of secrets?
Learners will be asked to crack a number of puzzles to get out of the chamber. Puzzle number one will be asking to crack the code on one of the doors using a code from a conversationg with a talking painting. The second puzzle you are asked to open a secret passage way using Wizard money calculations. The third puzzle you will have to crack another secret passage way with a similar code as the one before. The fourth code you will have to search through a variety of rooms and pick up on clues to crack the code. The final code you will have to use clues in a photo to crack the code. If you fail to get out of the final passage way, you will be locked away forever.

REQUIRED: This escape room is a team effort. It is required that each student unmute themselves and work with their classmates to solve the puzzles in the escape room.

Hello! I currently work as a special education teacher in Duluth Minnesota. I have a passion for teaching students of all ages and ability levels. This is my fifth year of teaching and I am excited to gain experiences from my current classroom as well as the virtual classroom. I have a masters degree in education and experience with all ages. My favorite classes to teach are reading and writing, basic math skills, and life skills such as personal finance. I also love creative thinking classes that allow students to invent a product, plan for a vacation, and other fun activities that make kids think critically. I love to teach kids, but also take every opportunity I can to allow my students to teach me! I am energetic and love to watch students be creative! I honor the relationship I can have with my students and look forward to creating relationships with each class!
