In this one time party, we will stretch, sing, dance and see snow! An interactive winter story will be read to help us have more fun with friends.

Yoga is so good for the body! It creates calm, strength and focus. It helps developing muscles grow appropriately and increases body awareness in the young minds. I am a certified early ed and special educator. I have so much experience and know your child will love this class! The class schedule is as follows: ❄️Winter greetings ❄️What is Winter? ❄️Winter Game ❄️Surprise Winter themed Yoga poses ❄️Winter story and Yoga poses ❄️Dance our way out! A more detailed description is here: The class will start with introductions. We will do fun Winter movement greetings to our new friends. After this, we will talk about Winter with pictures and objects. There will be a winter game to do some surprise winter themed yoga poses. Students will take turns creating their own yoga poses and playing a copycat game. This really ensures students get that social peice through interaction and the body. We will read the story There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed Some Snow by Lucille Colandro and learn yoga poses for each page. This story is accompanied with visuals and puppets to ensure engagement and understanding. We will then sing and dance to a Winter song and dance our way out. My teaching style is very interactive and fun. I enjoy singing, moving and using many pictures to help students attend and understand fully. Students will not need any prior knowledge. Whether they are an expert at Halloween or still learning, this class can accommodate everyone. **THIS CLASS IS SPECIAL EDUCATION FRIENDLY! I provide visuals, a visual schedule, sentence visuals, and a fun and engaging environment! I was a special education teacher for several years. Please give this class a try and message me if you have concerns.** MUTE/UNMUTE: Have you child practice mute and unmute or be present if they need help. Parental Guidance
Please advise this is a movement based class. Have space to move, water and appropriate footwear. You know your child best so please supervise as necessary. Outschool and I are not responsible for any injuries.
