Writing Wonderland: Creative Writing Camp for All Ability Levels
Class Experience
US Grade 4 - 7
Beginner - Advanced Level
Students will be encouraged to fracture a fairy tales by re-imagine a traditional story and changing it in some substantial way. However, if a student has no interest in writing a fairy tale, no problem! This class is dedicated to exploring the imagination, and all story ideas will be welcomed! Students in this class will be encouraged to examine a story's elements (characters, setting, plot, theme, point of view, etc.) and think about how they can improve upon it in some way. - By the end of this course, students will have written, edited and shared a complete creative story (or perhaps even two!)
I hold a master's degree in literature, and I am quite skilled at presenting the writing process to students so that it is easily understood.
