Beginner - Advanced Level
This class begins with a mini-lesson on plotting a story and using description to show not tell. A visual writing prompt will be presented to inspire the learner's story. The bulk of the lesson will be spent plotting and writing. Any format or genre will be acceptable. They may choose to write a narrative or even a script for a play. At the end of our time, they may choose to share with the group. Assistance will be given as needed. If a one-on-one session would help your child further explore their writing talents, these can be made available.
