Join me in celebrating the Winter season with a seasonally-inspired yoga session for beginners. No prior experience is necessary, just a willingness to have fun while moving our bodies and also learning some interesting facts relating to winter holidays, weather, animals, etc. You will learn some yoga and visualization techniques that you can use outside of class to increase flexibility and strength, or to help you relax. In addition to being a certified Early and Elementary Teacher, I have a passion for health and wellness! I like to incorporate unique ways of combining my love for teaching and healthy living into this course. I believe that physical activities, such as yoga, are a great way to both care for our bodies, while also caring for our minds by relieving stress and helping mental focus.
Please wear comfortable clothing that you can move around in. If you would like to use a yoga mat, you may but it is not required. If you are not using a mat, you may be more comfortable on a carpet than bare floor as we will be doing some work on the floor.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
