Welcome to this class! In this class we will be learning all about the season Winter! Students will enjoy a Winter story, perform a choreographed Winter dance, and create a Winter Landscape Painting! Please be sure to check the materials needed to complete the painting. Be sure students have any area to move during our dance. The Dance is simple but they will need a clear area to turn, wiggle, move up and move down. We will mix our snow paint and then draw and paint a winter landscape. This class will include: *Welcome and Greeting for each student to share their favorite animal. *Read Aloud of: "Snow Balls" by Lois Ehlert *Dance: Learn a winter song and dance *Craft: Create a winter tree and snowman family *Sharing: Each student share their art piece! I cant wait to meet you in class!

Supply List
Black or Brown Marker Colored paper (light blue works great but any color except black or brown will work) White Elmerβs Glue* Shaving cream* Paintbrush Scissors *You could sub the Elmers glue and shaving cream for white paint but it just wont be puffy. :)

Hello! I am so happy you came to visit my classroom! Hello! I am Teacher Amy! I live near Orlando, Florida in the United States. I graduated from the University of Central Florida in Elementary Education. I have been a classroom teacher for 8 years but have 14 years of experience in tutoring students. I have certifications for teaching Reading, English Language Learners, and Gifted Students. I have been a Cross Country coach for 4 years for our schools Cross Country team. I guided students in exercises and training for races and staying healthy.
I always focus on having a fun and engaging classroom. It is important to me that every student takes away new knowledge from my classroom. My goal as a teacher is to help students to find motivation and to be excited about their learning. I have a passion to teach young children how to read.
