Welcome to our drawing club for Christmas lovers, colored pencil enthusiasts and scientists alike, where we'll learn scientific facts about what we draw. In this class, you will learn various drawing techniques under the guidance of a certified art educator. We will also discuss and practice some easy tips and tricks that you can use outside of the classroom, like how to ensure you're using proper measurements or how to ensure you're drawing things accurately. I have gone to school for art education and have obtained my teaching degree via Grand Valley State University and have been certified for art education for grades young five through twelfth grade. I specialize in integrating general curriculum subject matter such as art, English, science, social studies and history into my lesson plans to ensure the homeschool population gets ample opportunity to meet minimum state standards while learning how to draw and having fun.

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
An informal assessment takes place in class during our fun interactive trivia game.
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
No third party applications are needed for this class but we will be using YouTube via screen share to help expand our knowledge of the animal we are drawing and we will be using zoom's interactive features to participate in a trivia game to assess our knowledge.
