The students will learn enjoy a time of listening as they are introduced to new vocabulary words. The topics covered are winter weather, snowmen, and elves. This class will be taught by listening and discussing short stories. On December 9th, the students will listen to the book, "How to catch a snowman." They will begin by discussing a plan to catch a snowman. The book will be read and the children will see if their theory was correct. On December 16th, the students will reread the...
Students will learn how to discuss a book, vocabulary, and the skill of taking turns.
There is no required homework.
Students will need a notebook, pencil, and crayons to write down words and draw pictures.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Each learned will be sent a short feedback concerning their progress.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
