Students will be taught how to draw and paint several different winter-themed paintings during this multi-day class. Topics will include what makes drawing as well as using lines to create shape and texture to create other colors. Day 1: Polar Bear Day 2: Penguin Day 3: Jolly Snowman Day 4: Snowman Chill Day 5: Winter Tree Day 6: Igloo Day 7: Snowy Night Day 8: Cabin The class will be structured in the following format: Greetings Demonstration of drawing Socialization while painting Art Gallery presentation The class will be structured as a step-by-step demonstration with socialization encouraged throughout each class. I will teach by utilizing a step-by-step demonstration while encouraging learners to add their details to their paintings. My teaching style is informal and relaxed. I will encourage the campers/students to be creative throughout the class. The learners will be encouraged to interact with each other as well as with me throughout each session. Questions about what the students like/dislike will be asked to begin the socialization conversations between members of the class. Students will be encouraged to think of questions they would like to find out about the other members of the camp as well. There is no previous knowledge needed for this class.
Learning Goals
Students will learn to paint different holiday paintings during each class by using shapes and lines. The students will be encouraged to be creative and add their own creative touches to the paintings as well. The lessons will not build on each other.
The topics of conversation, as well as additional details, will be learner-directed. The lessons will not build upon each other from class to class as we will create a different holiday-themed painting each day.

Parental Guidance
The students will help guide the topics of conversation as well as some of the details to be included in the winter-themed paintings. We may play Would You Rather or share some jokes as well.
