Class Experience

During this one time class we will have a blast playing Bingo!! Prior to class students will be provided with a blank Bingo board as well as pictures that they can color, cut out and glue onto the blank Bingo board to make their unique Bingo board. We'll spend most of class time playing Bingo, but of course there will be plenty of time for talking too. Come ready to tell your winter themed jokes! At the end of class we'll also make some basic paper snowflakes. The teacher will provide directions on how to fold the paper and cut various shapes. No two snowflakes will be alike!

Participants will need to print off the teacher provided Bingo boards, to be prepared before class, as well as small objects to be used as Bingo markers. Participants will also need a few pieces of basic white printer paper and scissors for making snowflakes.

Please let me know if you wish to schedule another date/time for this class. I'm also available for private sessions with your own group of friends.

Maryland Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education
I grew up in Wisconsin where I completed my undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education at UW Stout. I've taught for the public school system for 14 years in a variety of positions including classroom teacher, interventionist, ELL teacher and elementary science lab teacher. I hold a Masters Degree in Reading and School Administration from Johns Hopkins. After leaving the public school system I've spent the last several years teaching middle school Science and History at a homeschool tutorial while being a homeschool mom. I enjoy teaching hands on engaging courses that spark the interest of students with the ultimate goal of encouraging them to become life long learners. I welcome student interaction and questions.

In my personal life I LOVE to read, travel and explore new areas, especially the beach! I am a Girl Scout leader and adore every single girl in my troop. As a troop leader I am certified in several outdoors areas- archery, canoe, kayak, camping, etc. I can't wait to share some of my love of the outdoors with families here on Outschool.
