In this one-time class, students will create a winter landscape painting.
Class experience
In this class, students will create a winter landscape painting. I will cover some tricks and tips to make drawing easier as well as the blending of paints. My class is relaxed and students are encouraged to talk with each other and share ideas throughout the lesson. I will utilize demonstrations to help the children create their creatures. Students will learn some basic art skills in order to create a winter landscape of their own imagination. The students will draw the basic outline for the landscape prior to painting it. They will be encouraged to color their artwork as well as share their art at the end of the class.
I have taught countless students during a 30-year career in education. During this time, I have taught all academic areas, art, and STEAM classes.
Canvas, cardstock, paper for painting on Pencil Eraser (just in case) Paint- colors to be determined by the student Cup with water Paint Pallett- paper plates or egg cartons will work if a different Pallett is not available Paper towel- to clean brushes with after the painting is completed Imagination A smile
