Its Winter, so lets cozy up with a good book and a simple craft to enjoy! We all love the book "There was A Cold Lady Who Swallowed Some Snow" by Lucille Colandro. This classic tale of the Old lady who swallowed something is favorite for all ages. In this one time class we will read the classic book. We will talk about the patterns in the book that occur after she swallows something. There are rhyming words through out the book that we will discuss as we read the story. At the end of the story we will create a snow man. We will need the following to create the snowman "paper, glue, cotton balls, markers". We will create a simple snow man that all ages can do.

Hello! My name is Nicole Dutzy. I have been a teacher for over 10 years. I taught Kindergarten and second grade. I have bachelor's in Early Childhood Education as well as a Masters in Educational Technology. Teaching students to love to school is a passion of mine.

Literacy skills focus ages 5-9. We will start each class with a book. We can learn so many things from a book. These literacy skills will taken us from Kindergarten to the end of first grade.
Circle time for ages 4-6. We will read a book, talk about the calendar, weather, math, and holidays.
Get Ready for Kindergarten Math 4-6. We will improve our math skills for kindergarten with hands on learning.
When I am not teaching I am with my family. I am married and have two boys ages 7 and 8 and a daughter who is 2. We are riding bikes, going to the park, playing baseball, or soccer.Reviews
