Winter STEM With Frosty: Exploding Snowman!

In this one-time seasonal class, learners will engage in science in a fun, hands-on way.  Everyone will be encouraged to bring a winter or holiday item to class, and students will get the opportunity to interact and practice taking turns with a winter show and tell.  

Following show and tell, the teacher will give a brief overview of the scientific method and chemical reactions. 

 To close class, everyone will create an "exploding snowman" using household items.  We will have the opportunity to do the experiment twice- this will help if we need to work on technique!  Check the supplies list below and in the classroom.

To close, we will have a frosty freeze dance!
