In this one-time class, learners will use prompts to write a poem. They will then create a final draft of their poem to gift for the winter holidays.

US Grade 5 - 7
In this one time class, we will work together using prompts to write a special individualized poem. We will then talk about the revision process, and learners can edit their poems. Final drafts of the poems will be re-written and mounted on colorful paper to create a gift to give a friend or loved one! In addition to the handout provided prior to class, and some paper and a pen, students will need scissors, glue, and a color or decorative piece of paper to complete their final gift. *This...
Students will be provided with handouts prior to class. Please ensure learners have pen or pencil and several pieces of paper. Students will also need scissors, glue, and a piece of colored or decorative paper.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
