Class experience
In this course, we will work together to learn the steps needed to create each portion of our clay creations. Different camera views will be used to show each step of the way. We will condition, cut, roll and form our pieces. Then we will assemble our body parts and get them prepared to be baked after class is over. This class is taught in English.
Students may use whichever sculpting medium they choose. I will instruct how to bake our creations if Bake Clay (Polymer) is used. **Polymer clay requires baking according to the package direction. (Generally ~275 °F, depending on your brand of clay). You may do this after class. Parental help is necessary. Supplies Needed to complete the projects: Either Air Dry Clay, Modeling Clay or Polymer Bake Clay: Black, White, Silver/Grey, Orange A small rolling pin or paintbrush handle to roll out small pieces A non stick surface to work on A few toothpicks cut in half (to secure heads if baking)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
