A social class where young learners will look discuss, examine, and creature their own snowmen out of play dough.
Class experience
This Snowman Play Dough class will be a social class discussing, examining, and creating a snowman out of play dough. No prior knowledge is needed! Students will need play dough varying in colors, recommended are: white, black, brown, red, and orange. The class will begin with discussing snowmen, their qualities, how to build them, and materials to build them. We will then move into looking at pictures of different snowmen. This class is taught in English.
Students will be using tactile skills to build their snowmen as well descriptive language in the discussion of the snowmen.
I taught PreK for a year. I also have my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education.
Play dough of varying colors such as but not limited to: white, red, black, brown, and orange.
Play dough may contain wheat, which could cause an allergic reaction if ingested in those sensitive to wheat gluten or with Celiac disease.
