Students will: 1. Students will demonstrate an understanding of a grammar structure through performance in game-based learning activities. 2. Students will demonstrate an understanding of a grammar structure by talking about it in class discussions. 3. Students will write a variety of sentences using targeted grammar structures. 4.Students will edit incorrect sentences and paragraphs for proper punctuation, verb tense and homophones. 5. Students will distinguish plural and possessive nouns. 6. Students will demonstrate how to use "I" and "me" correctly in a sentence. 7. Students will correct sentences using the appropriate synonyms and antonyms.
I have six years of experience teaching middle and high school composition.
Homework will be assigned as needed. If students are having difficulties with any assignment, homework will be assigned to help review grammatical rules.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
