Join me as we have fun learning & practicing our math skills in a fun winter theme.

Class Experience

This is a one time class design for children between the ages of 4-5. Class begins with a welcoming song and introduction. 

Students will  measure items using regular size marshmallows. We will also create shapes using drinking straws cut in 2 and 3 inches or coffee stirrers and regular marshmallows. 
(If you do not want to use marshmallows then you can substitute white playdough in the place of the marshmallows).

 Students will practice their listening skills throughout the class. Students have the opportunity to practice various math skills such as  identifying numbers, creating and naming shapes and sorting.

I was a full-time private  preschool/ Pre-K teacher and have a BA degree and over 17 years of experience teaching young children. I am currently working in a public school Pre-K program.

The following items to measure: 1 maker, 1 sheet of paper, and 1 spoon. 
1 bag of regular size marshmallows or 1 container of white playdough.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
