Class Experience

In this ongoing drop in class we will be creating fun crafts with a winter theme. Being crafty and artistic helps build problem solving and creative thinking skills for later in life.

Monday 1/10 - Ice painting. You will need construction paper or water color paper as it will get wet, Ice cubes made ahead of time (put water in a ice cube tray and add either some paint or food coloring to each cube and mix a little. I would also put popsickle sticks in the ice for your learner to hold). It might be helpful to put some sort of tray under the paper to help contain the mess.

Monday 1/31 - Coffee filter snowflakes. You will need white coffee filters, markers, scissors and small cup of water with and eye dropper or something to drip water on the coffee filter. It may also be helpful to have a tray to work on to collect the water.

Monday 2/7 - Q-tip snowman painting. You will need white paper, q-tips, blue paint, markers and a snowman stencil I will send you.

Monday 2/14 - Snowman paper chain. You will need white and black paper, markers, string or ribbon and glue or stapler.
