Class Experience

Students will gain knowledge on snow, snow storms, and blizzards.
As a K-2 teacher of 9 years, I have always loved bringing science experiments into my classroom! My husband is a former science museum employee and has showed me many awesome experiments and activities over the years that always "wow" my students!
Please make sure to bring these exact ingredients. Sometimes replacements make the learners experiment turn out different or not as expected!

- baby oil (enough to fill your jar 2/3 of the way full.
- white washable paint
- alka seltzer tablets (2-3)
- 1 clear jar or plastic cup ( 18 oz works well)
- glitter (silver, blue, and white look great in this experiment. Any kind of glitter is fine.)
- a cup of water (separate from cup used for the experiment)
- a teaspoon
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
