Class experience
Welcome to Guitar Camp for Beginners! In this class, young learners will have their first guitar experience. Day 1 - We will learn the parts of the guitar, how to hold it, and how to pluck and strum. Day 2 - "Mississippi Hot Dog" - Learn a fun rhythm on your guitar and play a guessing game to see what string you hear! Day 3 - Continue with Mississippi Hot Dog and learn the names of the top 3 strings. Day 4 - Start our first song, Hot Cross Buns. Day 5 - Finish learning Hot Cross Buns....
Learners will cover the parts of the guitar, names of the strings, how to strum and pluck, and how to play their first song.
Learners MUST have an appropriate size GUITAR for this class, either 3- or 6-string. NO guitaleles or ukuleles since their tuning system is completely different. Please reach out with any questions prior to enrolling.
